Summer 6's 2025
Summer 6’s Football Soccer
Summer 6’s FOOTBALL
Whitsunday United FC’s Seam Spatial Summer 6’s social football competition will start again on TUESDAY 7 OCTOBER 2025 at the Whitsunday Sportspark, Jubilee Pocket.
Due to last year’s competition popularity, this year we are running things a little differently.
If you already have a team you need to be signed up prior to the start of the competition. For those who already have a team organised a team sheet must be submitted to the club (including all player names) and all players on that team sheet must be officially registered before the competition starts.
Tuesday 7 October will then act as a ‘sign on’ night for any players who don’t have a team. If you don’t have a team organised, you are welcome to register as an individual and will be allocated to a team in the appropriate competition division. On Tuesday 7 October everyone is welcome to come down to Whitsunday Sportspark (Jubilee Pocket) for an informal kick-around, to find a team or to have a chat with the committee about the competition.
Round 1 of the competition will commence on Tuesday 14 October. This year’s competition will be 10 rounds and some weeks we will have double rounds on both Tuesday and Thursday nights, to ensure we can fit in the required number of rounds before silly season starts!
2025 competition Divisions
There are three different divisions again this year:
Junior Mixed - for U7 - U9 and U10 - U12 with 8 players per side to give more playing time. Games will be 2 x 20-minute halves. Games start at 4.30pm. Once all registrations have been finalised all registered juniors will be allocated teams by the club.
Social Mixed - suitable for aged 13+ and is aimed at those who are not serious about keeping score or that wish to play socially with their friends and children. 8 players per side for 2 x 25-minute halves. Registered outdoor players 15+ are not eligible for social mixed teams (unless otherwise approved by the club). Games 5.30pm, 6.30pm or 7.30pm (times change weekly).
Senior Mixed - division is suitable for players aged 15+ (registered outdoor players). All teams must be mixed, with a minimum of two females on the pitch at any time. 6 players per team for 2 x 25-minute halves. Games 5.30pm, 6.30pm or 7.30pm (times change weekly).
If you are keen to be involved in any of these divisions, then please click the ‘REGISTER NOW’ link below.

ENTERING A TEAM - SENIOR/ SOCIAL divisions
You can either enter a full team (max 10 players per team) or if you don’t have a team, come down to sign on night (Tuesday 7 October) and you will be allocated to a suitable team in a suitable division. This applies to social mixed and senior mixed only. Junior mixed will be allocated to teams by the club once all registrations are in - this ensures equity in the teams.
If you have a team organised, email the team name/ captain’s name and list of player names to football@whitsundayunitedfc.com.
