We ARE WUFC!

Whitsunday United Football Club (WUFC) focuses on developing and coaching football players from Under 13 to senior grades in the Whitsundays. WUFC is committed to developing its youth players all the way through to the senior grades in order to maintain strong participation in football in our region.

Currently, the junior clubs of Airlie Beach Football Club, Proserpine Taipans and Bowen Blast feed junior players into Whitsunday United Football Club from u13 upwards. With increased participation across the board in all the junior clubs over recent years and the pathway to continued growth offered by Whitsunday United Football Club, the future of football is bright in the Whitsunday region.

Teams from Whitsunday United Football Club compete in the Football Queensland Whitsunday Coast competition in various divisions from Premier and Reserves to Division 1. For registered players, regular travel is required to and from Mackay to compete in a home and away series, with home games are played at Whitsunday Sportspark.

The club has grown exponentially over recent years and with a dedicated team of volunteers, an experienced committee and some incredible talent coming through the ranks - WUFC is your home of football in the Whitsundays!

LAST Season’s SUCCESS!

In 2025 we entered the following teams into the FQ Whitsunday Coast competition:

• Men’s Premier, Men’s U23’s,

• Men’s Division 1, Men’s Division 2

• Women’s Premier

• U15/16

• U14

• U13 Premier, U13 Division 1

Our Men’s U23’s for the first time in club history won their league and the grand final to be named both Premiers and Champions!

Our Men’s Division 1 also led us to victory in their grand final being named league Champions. They were also awarded Senior Community Club of the Year in the 2025 Football Queensland Annual Awards.

The exponential growth of the club over the last few years is highlighted in the number and strength of teams we are currently fielding, from 6 teams in 2020 to 9 teams in 2025.
