Whitsunday United Football Club is the home of competitive football in the Whitsundays. The club caters for players from 13 years+, both male and female, located in Airlie Beach, Proserpine and Bowen. Whitsunday United Football Club is the senior football club affiliated with the junior feeder clubs of Airlie Beach Football Club, Proserpine Taipans Football Club and Bowen Blast Football Association.

FQ Whitsunday Coast 2026 SEASON

The 2026 competitive season starts in March 2026. Registrations will open in January, and we have teams from youth U13 to senior men’s and women’s. The club is growing year-on-year and we are always looking for passionate, dedicated footballers to join Whitsunday United Football Club.

Whitsunday united FC - 2025 SEASON summary

2025 was another great year of football for Whitsunday United FC with the club entering 9 teams into the FQ Whitsunday Coast competition. 8 out of our 9 teams made it to the final series, and a massive congratulations to our U14’s, U15/16’s, U23 Men and Men’s Div1 teams who all made it to the Grand Finals.

For the first time in WUFC history the U23’s lifted the title and did it in style with the ultimate double. They confidently took the league Premier title and then went on to win their nail-biting grand final to be crowned 2025 Whitsunday Coast Grand Final Champions!!

Our Men’s Division 1 team narrowly missed out on winning their league but were victorious in their grand final and were crowned 2025 Whitsunday Coast Grand Final Champions! The Men’s Division 1 were also voted Community Senior Team of the Year in the Football Queensland end of season awards.
